It's Spring Training time, and we thought this 1988 movie might be just perfect this week. It's a baseball movie, but that's pretty obvious. If you need to know which one, take a close look at the logo on the uniform.The movie is based upon the minor league experiences of writer/director Ron Shelton who played second base in the Baltimore Orioles' farm system, eventually playing at the AAA level for Rochester in the International League. He quit when he realized that he would never become a major league player, and went on to make movies.
